Description Hands-Free Massage is a practical CPD course for qualified massage therapists, aromatherapists and bodyworkers who want to develop a more sustainable way of working. Many therapists begin to feel the physical demands of hands-on work over time. Thumbs, wrists, shoulders and lower backs can all become overused, especially when pressure is created through effort rather than good positioning and body mechanics. This course teaches you how to use your forearms, body weight and movement to deliver effective massage without placing so much strain on your hands. The aim is not to replace everything you already do, but to give you more options within treatment. You will learn how to create broad, confident pressure, work with less physical effort and adapt hands-free techniques into your existing massage practice. We will also explore how pace, pressure and quality of touch can influence the client’s nervous system. Hands-free work can feel deeply reassuring when applied well, helping clients soften into the treatment rather than brace against it. This course is part of The Well School Longevity Series, supporting both the wellbeing of the client and the long-term practice of the therapist. Booking and Cancellation A £50 deposit secures your place on the course and covers the cost of materials prepared for each student. This deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 1 month before the course date may transfer the remaining balance to a future course, if space is available. Cancellations made within 1 month of the course date cannot be refunded, as materials and course preparation will already have been arranged. If The Well School needs to cancel or move the course for any reason, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your place to a future date.
