I bought this Topcage to replace a metal water bottle located behind my seat (which I could not reach). My recumbent trike has limited options for mounting accessories, so I was encouraged when I read the positive reviews for this product. I did not want to drill holes in my frame, and easy installation was exactly what I hoped!I was not disappointed! I tried mounting the cage in multiple locations on my trike. Each installation and removal was super easy. The long Velcro straps allowed me to mount on different tube sizes with ease. The Velcro is strong and really holds well! The cage has not moved at all since I installed it – even riding over rough terrain.I determined that the ultimate placement of the Topcage for me was on the front trike post near the pedals (see photos). I can reach the bottle while pedaling and returning it securely to the Topcage without any problem at all. I really like the cage design. It secures the bottle really well vs my original cage from which the bottle constantly wiggled loose regardless of adjustments. This SKS Topcage secures the bottle and nothing moves! (I use a 20 oz Polar Bottle). The plastic seems very strong, and I liked the 5-year warranty!I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend the SKS Topcage.
